Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join a finance team on a part-time basis for a 12-month contract, aim is to start with 2-3 days in their office in Sandton. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial management and a proven track record of excellence in financial reporting and analysis. SAP expertise is essential, as you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our financial processes and contributing to our global success.

Key Responsibilities

  • - Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • - Analyze financial performance and recommend strategies to improve profitability.
  • - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • - Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to support business decisions.
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic projects and initiatives.
  • - Implement and maintain financial systems and controls, with a particular focus on SAP functionalities.
  • - Assist in the development and monitoring of internal financial controls and policies.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CIMA qualification is highly advantageous.
  • - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management accounting role, preferably within a multinational corporation.
  • - Proficiency in SAP is essential, with a strong understanding of its accounting and finance functionalities.
  • - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in English.
  • - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
